Opioid Treatment
Program in New Hampshire

Located in Hudson, NH, we serve individuals across Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts who are ready to begin recovery while maintaining their work, family, and daily responsibilities.

Opioid use disorder is one of the most complex and dangerous substance use conditions a person can face. Heartfelt Recovery Centers provides outpatient opioid addiction treatment in New Hampshire through evidence-based programs designed to fit your life, not disrupt it.

The Opioid Crisis in New Hampshire

New Hampshire has been among the states hit hardest by the opioid epidemic, though recent data shows meaningful progress. Drug-related overdose deaths in the state fell by 33% from 2023 to 2024, the largest single-year decline in over a decade. This progress reflects growing access to evidence-based treatment options, including medication-assisted treatment and structured outpatient programs.

Opioid use disorder is a chronic medical condition that changes brain chemistry and behavior over time. Recovery requires comprehensive, clinical care, not willpower alone.

Opioids We Treat

Our team treats all forms of opioid use disorder, including dependency on prescription and illicit opioids. Common substances we see include:

Many people who come to us started with a legal prescription and developed physical dependence over time. Others are struggling with illicit opioid use after years of trying to stop on their own. Both paths are valid reasons to seek care, and both can lead to lasting recovery.

Outpatient Opioid Addiction Treatment in New Hampshire

Heartfelt Recovery Centers is an outpatient-only facility. This means treatment happens during scheduled program hours while you continue to live at home. This model works especially well for people who need structured clinical support but cannot step away from work, family, or other responsibilities.

We do not require residential placement or extended leave from your daily life. Our programs are designed to meet clinical standards set by the American Society of Addiction Medicine while remaining flexible enough for the realities of the people we serve.

Opioid Treatment Programs at Heartfelt

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our PHP is the highest level of outpatient care we offer. It provides structured, clinically intensive treatment five days per week, with medical monitoring, individual therapy, group therapy, and medication management integrated throughout the week.

PHP is typically the right starting point for individuals who have recently completed medical detoxification or who require a high level of clinical support before stepping down to a less intensive program.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP provides three to five sessions per week with evening scheduling options. This allows people who work full-time or have family obligations to receive consistent, structured treatment without taking time off.

IOP includes individual therapy, group therapy, dual diagnosis support, and ongoing medication management. Most clients transition into IOP from PHP and continue for eight to twelve weeks.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

MAT is one of the most effective, evidence-based approaches to treating opioid use disorder. Our licensed medical team prescribes and manages FDA-approved medications including buprenorphine (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol) as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Medication does not replace therapy or recovery work. It reduces withdrawal symptoms and cravings so that individuals can fully engage in the clinical and behavioral components of treatment.

Detox Placement Coordination

Heartfelt Recovery Centers does not provide medical detoxification services on-site. If you or a loved one require detox prior to beginning an outpatient program, our team will coordinate placement with a trusted detox facility and work to ensure a seamless transition into our PHP or IOP immediately after.

This continuity of care model prevents gaps in treatment and gives individuals the best possible start in our outpatient program.

You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone

Dual Diagnosis Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder

Many people who struggle with opioid use disorder are also managing an underlying mental health condition such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, or trauma. These conditions do not disappear when opioid use stops. In fact, untreated mental health symptoms are among the most common drivers of relapse.

Our clinical team specializes in co-occurring disorder treatment, addressing both opioid use disorder and mental health conditions simultaneously. Individual therapy, group therapy, and psychiatric medication management are all integrated into a single, coordinated care plan.

Insurance Coverage for Opioid Treatment in NH

Most major insurance plans cover opioid addiction treatment. Heartfelt Recovery Centers is in-network with multiple commercial insurers and accepts Medicaid and Medicare for qualifying services.

Insurance plans we commonly work with include Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, WellSense, Ambetter, and New Hampshire Medicaid. Our admissions team verifies benefits before you begin, so you know exactly what to expect before your first appointment.
